Patricia was such a lovely, gentle person and we felt like we got her ideas pretty much straight away. Even to the point where we had ideas on our Pinterest board that matched some of the pictures she brought to our first meeting.
The couple wanted a quintessentially elegant, old-world glamorous wedding, but at the same time they wanted their guests to enjoy our wedding in a more relaxed environment, so we were looking for a perfectly balanced styling between glamour and a relaxed feel.
For example, the colour palette was marsala, fuchsia and gold, which is an elegant, opulent combination, but the flowers were arranged botanically, rather than rigidly bundled into fixed shape.
They decided to keep their guest list quite small, and intimate, in order to really enjoy their guests company and also so that they could splash out on the things that were really important to them.
It was a very multi-cultural wedding with plenty of guests making their first visit to our beautiful country and what a better place to introduce them to South Africa, than the picturesque Franschhoek Valley
Congratulations Patricia and Luke – we loved working with you and on your wedding flowers and decor.
And our grateful thanks to Ryan Graham Photography for the incredible images of Patricia, who looked like an Asian Audrey Hepburn in her Oscar de la Renta and second Kobus Dippenaar dresses.
