this beautiful couple and many of their dearest friends and family descended upon Cape Town for a weekend of anniversary and birthday celebrations. They were seriously some of the loveliest people and clients I have ever had. It was a dream assignment.
Boutique Concepts did the planning and Johnny & his amazing team from Slippery Spoon provided a theatre of food, as well as the fab team from Urban Tonic on the bar and Scape behind the furniture.
We converted a beautiful villa open plan entertainment area in greys and red, into a moroccan styled oasis in shades of gold, copper and cream.
The guests were constantly entertained with either fabulous food, fabulous drinks or fabulous entertainment from belly dancers, fire dancers, and a live band as well as a brilliant DJ from the UK.
There were 100’s of moroccan lanterns, plenty of dried foliage combined with fresh orchids, roses and anthuriums, all super on trend. with orchid adorned lampshades, and bowls floating with roses and orchids to wash the guests hands and feet before they had gold tattoos painted onto them, it truly aroused all of the senses.
each of the lounge pockets was beautifully curated by Scape Events, with added florals on the cabanas for a truly luxurious evening – and one that the guests absolutely loved based on the beautiful and warm feedback we got all night. It was an event I will remember for a long time to come.
AND a huge shout out to Lorraine from Lols Functions for her help with the flowers – she outdid herself on this one.
