It’s always an honour to be invited back to flower an event the following year.

We Are Africa is a travel and tourism expo that is not an expo – it’s an experience and is all about connecting people – and I loved working on their floral decor for various sections of the event last year and was delighted to come back and flower their events again this year.

From small but impactful florals in artfully self-made containers, to floral art structures on the Welcome desk. Then large scale installations at the ‘Under the Influence Bar’ to neon African print brights at the closing party.

With a theme of ‘Encounter The Extraordinary’ – the flowers had to be more than flowers, they had to be floral art – my passion
