Colour makes the world go round…

I can’t believe I have not published this shoot as a whole? It was executed in 2022 by a wonderful team of industry specialists and the most lovely models – Celeste and Ntando. And boy is it stunning?

Angelique from Blush Babe – a hair and makeup babe, who is just so lovely, suggested the concept to me and I loved it – the gentle beauty of women and flowers.

The amazing Samantha Clifton was our incredible painter of light and pixels.

Editorials or shoots, or content creation as it’s called these days, is a wonderful chance to try out new things, new techniques, new styles, new colours for any creative and I do love them – I’m a floral engineer at heart, and so figuring out the best way to make something (whether using an old or new technique and mechanic) is something that gets me up in the mornings…

And these floral head pieces for this beauty shoot did just that. Whilst colourful, they were mostly monochromatic and this often adds to the dramatic effect of any stylish look. As textures show up in monochrome.
