We Are Africa 2024 – Combined 125 birthday with the Mount Nelson Hotel

Every year, I look forward to this event. The organisers are brilliant and on the ball and open to loads of ideas as regards floral and decor. And although it’s a pretty big event, I have a wonderful and mighty team who are just incredible and execute with passion and energy.

This year the opening party was held at the iconic Mount Nelson hotel. They were a headline sponsor, as it is also the 125th anniversary of the hotel opening and so it made perfect sense to have a ‘pink safari chic’ party on the beautiful lawns in front of the Oasis restaurant and terrace.

With incredible musicians, champagne bars, flower bedecked lounges – the guests were treated to an opening act of note.
